Betsy Jackson currently serves as Outreach Coordinator for Trust In Food™, focusing on climate-smart programming for historically underserved farmers and ranchers. Previously, as Program Manager at Transplanting Traditions Community Farm, Betsy successfully managed multiple non-profit initiatives and enhanced operational logistics on an 8-acre organic farm, achieving significant income increases for refugee farmers through entrepreneurial projects. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Manager at Anderson Acres, where new business ventures and partnerships were developed, and Management Apprentice at Sisters Hill Farm, managing a CSA farm operation. Betsy’s foundational experience in sustainable agriculture includes an apprenticeship at UCSC Center for Agroecology. Betsy holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Rutgers University and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Virginia, complemented by a certificate in Ecological Horticulture.
