Clara Tsao

Clara Tsao is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in technology policy, trust and safety, and decentralized storage solutions. As a Founding Officer and Director at the Filecoin Foundation since 2020, Clara is pivotal in building an open-source, decentralized storage network aimed at preserving vital information. Clara co-founded and serves on the board of the Trust & Safety Professional Association, supporting professionals in online behavior and content policy development. Roles include serving on the Advisory Board for the No. 10 Innovation Fellowship, being a Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council focusing on content moderation, and holding a non-resident fellowship at the German Marshall Fund related to misinformation. Additional contributions include advising the United Nations' Tech Against Terrorism initiative and leading efforts on emerging technology policy at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.
