Leanne Attard is currently the R&D Lead at Trust Stamp. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Support Officer (PhD researcher) at the University of Malta from June 2017 to May 2020. Leanne also has experience working as a Project Associate (& PhD Student) at CERN from June 2017 to May 2020, where they focused on developing solutions for structural health monitoring and infrastructure change detection. In addition, Leanne worked as a Software executive at Traffiko from March 2013 to January 2016 and as a Software Engineer at HOB Software Malta from September 2011 to February 2013.
Leanne Attard's educational career began with their obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Malta. Leanne then went on to complete a Master of Science in ICT (By Research) in Communications and Computer Engineering from the same university. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Vision from the University of Malta.
They are on a team with Christian Bajada - Research Lead, David Grima - Lead Researcher. Leanne Attard reports to Reuben Farrugia, Research Director.
