Alan Schecher

Alan Schecher has a diverse work experience in the insurance and financial industry. Alan started their career at Allstate Financial in 2002, where they held various actuarial roles. Alan gradually advanced and gained expertise in asset liability management (ALM), including the development and automation of ALM metrics.

In 2013, Alan joined TruStage as the Director of Capital Management, responsible for creating and measuring ALM metrics. Alan later became the Director of Capital Management and ALM, before being promoted to the role of Vice President and Chief Risk and Assurance Officer in 2019. Overall, Alan has demonstrated their skills in managing risks, ensuring financial stability, and contributing to strategic decision-making within these organizations.

Alan Schecher received their Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics from Michigan Technological University in 2000. Alan then went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2001.
