Bharath Prasannakumar has a diverse work experience in the field of quality engineering and automation. Bharath started their career as a Software QA Engineer at Schneider Electric in 2011, where they automated test cases using HP Quick Test Professional and successfully tested complex features like power and energy calculations. Bharath also took part in innovation week challenges to explore new automation technologies.

In 2015, Bharath was promoted to the role of Senior Software Engineer - QA at Schneider Electric, where they designed and implemented a generic automation testing framework using Java, TestNG, and Selenium WebDriver. This framework improved testing efficiency by approximately 80% and helped identify critical functional defects and complex calculation errors. Bharath also actively communicated customer pain points during team meetings and requirement discussions to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Bharath introduced Cypress to the team, resolving issues faced with running scripts using Selenium WebDriver in CICD pipelines. Bharath successfully automated sanity testing using Cypress, which significantly reduced testing time from two days to less than two hours, and played a vital role in ensuring timely product releases.
