Simon McManus PMP

Simon McManus PMP has gained extensive experience in project management and RFID technology. Simon currently holds the position of Director Project Management at TrustCloud, starting in January 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Project Manager at TrustCloud from October 2021 to December 2022.

Simon obtained their PMP certification from the Project Management Institute in March 2021. Simon self-organized their study to excel in the updated and more agile-oriented PMP exam.

Before joining TrustCloud, Simon worked at Checkpoint Systems, where they held multiple roles. From November 2018 to November 2020, they worked as a Project Manager EMEA, overseeing projects in various European countries. Prior to this, Simon was the Project Manager Iberia at Checkpoint Systems from May 2016 to October 2018. In this role, they handled RFID project management and worked with global teams across Europe, the USA, India, and China.

Simon also served as a Technology Project Manager and RFID Consultant at eXperience IT Solutions from February 2014 to April 2016. Simon managed the MTT-Tracker project, focusing on RFID solutions and high-speed tag reading technology.

In 2013, Simon took a break to enhance their networking and switching knowledge by preparing for and passing the CCNA2.0 exam. Simon also dedicated time to learn Mandarin.

Between 2012 and 2013, Simon dedicated their time to their family in the UK.

Simon started their career at MOINSA in 1999, where they held various roles. Simon worked as a Coordinator RFID R&D from January 2011 to October 2012. Prior to this, they served as an RFID Specialist & RFID Project Manager from January 2008 to December 2010, focusing on designing tailor-made RFID solutions. Simon also worked as a Technological Consultant & Product Manager from January 2002 to December 2007, developing and integrating high technology systems for the logistics industry. Simon began their career at MOINSA as a Firmware Engineer from July 1999 to December 2001.

Simon McManus PMP completed their undergraduate education from 1992 to 1996 at The University of Manchester, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Systems Engineering with honors. Additionally, from 1994 to 1995, they studied at Kwansei Gakuin University, although the specific degree and field of study obtained during this time are not provided.

Simon McManus also holds a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in March 2021.
