Matthew has a proven track record in launching and growing companies. Matthew has a passion for making the journey to your next gig or freelancer easier and more delightful than ever before.

Matthew Pierce launched their career in the staffing industry with TEKsystems in 2009. Matthew quickly rose through the ranks and became a top consultant, responsible for consulting and aligning TEKsystems vast offering of services to their clients. In this role, they managed a portfolio of Global Financial Services accounts including JPMorgan Chase, Northern Trust, and Charles Schwab.

In 2014, Matthew Pierce founded Pierce Consulting LLC, a boutique staffing and consulting firm specializing in the placement of IT professionals. The company was acquired by Hired, Inc. in 2017. As GM, Matthew was responsible for launching Hired into the world of independent work.

Matthew Pierce is also a Board Member of The Risk Management Association, where they are responsible for communication of internal and external activities and events for the association, as well as brokering industry relationships and partnerships for the betterment of the organization.

Matthew Pierce studied business and marketing at Illinois State University. Matthew later obtained certifications in contingent workforce management and product management from Staffing Industry Analysts and General Assembly, respectively.
