Nathan Paddock, CISSP, PMP, ITIL

Nathan Paddock, CISSP, PMP, ITIL has been in the IT industry for over 17 years. Nathan began their career in 2003 as the Assistant Director of Operations for Air Force Network Operations, where they supervised operations for Air Force HQ-level network operations and security center (NOSC), providing 24x7 command and control for 10 NOSCs worldwide. In 2008, they moved to Air Force Space Command, where they served as the Cyberspace Safety Program Lead and Advanced EHF Satellite Requirements Officer, leading a team of six in testing and evaluating hardware and software delivered in support of a new secure communications satellite constellation. Nathan then moved to the United States Air Force in 2012, where they served as Commander of the 99th Communications Squadron, supervising 250 staff operating and maintaining IT infrastructure valued at $150M, in support of around 9,500 customers.

In 2014, Nathan Paddock returned to Dartmouth College as an IT Project Manager, where they managed campus Identity & Access Management (IAM) and IT Service Management projects, supervising four individuals and implementing two-factor authentication and role-based access to improve network security and access controls. In 2017, they joined BDP Technology Solutions, LLC as an IT Consultant, assembling and configuring point-of-sale tablets, ensuring delivery of PCI-compliant solutions to a network of US retailers. That same year, they also became the Business Owner of Kearsarge Computing, LLC, contributing to the community by offering small business and in-home tech support, repairing computers, correcting and advising on software issues, and spreading awareness of Internet threats and scams. In 2018, Nathan Paddock joined Dartmouth College as an Academic Technology Consultant, providing audio visual, software, and computing support for students, faculty, and staff of The Dartmouth Institute (TDI) residential and online graduate programs.

Finally, in 2019, Nathan Paddock joined Trusted Internet LLC as the Director of Cyber Security Services, Virtual CISO, and Director of Security Operations.

Nathan Paddock obtained their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the United States Air Force Academy in 1994. Nathan went on to earn a Master of Science in Mgt of Information Systems from Bowie State University in 2000. In 2007, they earned a Master of Science in Operational Military Sciences from Air University. In 2016, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in IT Project Management from Boston University. Paddock also holds four certifications: PMP from the Project Management Institute (obtained in December 2017), ITIL Service Capability: Release, Control, and Validation from AXELOS Global Best Practice (obtained in June 2015), ITIL 2011 Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice (obtained in February 2015), and CISSP from (ISC)² (obtained in May 2014).
