Emily Christner has a diverse work experience in media, entertainment, and technology industries. Emily has held various leadership roles in different companies. Emily started their career at the Boston Bruins, where they worked as an Online Marketing Manager and later as part of the Advertising Sales/Promotions/Community Relations team. Emily then joined Virgin Mobile USA as an MBA Intern, focusing on promotions and partnerships. Emily then worked at Wonderbox as the Director of U.S. Marketing & Business Development, where they negotiated contracts and developed marketing plans. Emily later joined Lionsgate as the Vice President of Marketing for TV Guide Digital, overseeing consumer audience growth and product launches. Emily also worked at CBS Interactive, where they held roles such as Vice President/General Manager of TV Guide, TV.com, and Metacritic, as well as VP of Strategy & Business Operations. Emily then worked as a Principal at Steel Pens Consulting, providing consulting and advisory services to startups and large companies. Emily also worked at MediaLink as a Senior Advisor and Onsite Consultant, providing industry expertise to clients in the media, advertising, and technology sectors. Currently, they are Chief Product Officer at TMB (Trusted Media Brands) and a member of Chief, a private network for senior women leaders.

Emily Christner earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Political Science from Boston College in 2000. Emily later pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Entertainment, Media and Technology from NYU Stern School of Business, completing it in 2006.
