Lionel Pacoud

Lionel Pacoud has over 16 years of work experience in various roles related to engineering, integration, and project management. Lionel started their career at Thales Underwater Systems as a trainee, where they designed and developed an XML Database editor. Lionel then moved to Purple labs as a Software Engineer, focusing on software development and integration of Java Virtual Machines in mobile phones.

In 2007, Lionel joined Trusted Logic as an R&D Engineer, where they specialized in embedded software development and validation. Lionel worked on integrating trusted execution environments (TEE) on multiple platforms such as Linux, Android, and Symbian. During this time, they also defined test strategies and plans and performed validation of the TEE.

In 2009, Lionel transitioned into the role of R&D Project Manager at Trusted Logic, where they managed the integration of security products on embedded platforms, including Android, Symbian, Texas Instruments OMAP3, OMAP4, and Nvidia Tegra2 and Tegra3. Lionel also played a significant role in integrating PlayReady DRM in Android-based tablets.

In 2012, Lionel joined Trusted Logic Mobility as an Integration Team Leader, responsible for the development, integration, and deployment of the company's products, including Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) and DRM agents. Lionel also oversaw the integration of security demanding components like HDCP controllers and cryptographic hardware accelerators.

Since 2013, Lionel has been working at Trustonic, first as an Integration Team Leader and later as an Engineering Director. As an Integration Team Leader, they were responsible for managing a team involved in integrations and support of the company's Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) on various ARM-based platforms, including ARMv7 A9/A7/A15 and ARMv8. Lionel handled team and project management, architecture discussions, and customer reporting. In their current role as Engineering Director, Lionel continues to contribute to the company's success in mobile security solutions.
