Shaun Moate

Shaun Moate is the Chief Data Officer at Trustpilot since September 2023, following a tenure as VP of Platform Engineering at Depop from June 2021 to July 2023, where leadership extended over 50 engineers across various platform-related teams. At Depop, Shaun also served as Director of Engineering, Data, leading a team focused on enhancing Data Infrastructure and Applied Machine Learning. Prior experience includes positions at DAZN as VP of Applied Machine Learning & Analytics, where a significant increase in experimentation was achieved, and Director of Data Science & Insights, building a global team of 50+. Shaun's early career features roles at leading companies such as Aviva, Sainsbury's, Virgin Media, Sky, Suncorp Group, and Nexans. Shaun holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Innovation from the University of Melbourne.
