Datuk Seri Paul "Saint SPAC" Chong began their career in 1995 as a Director of Investment Banking and Deputy Head of Telecoms Investment Banking (Asia ex-Japan) at UBS. In 1998, they moved to Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette as Vice President and Head of Telecoms & Media Investment Banking (Asia-Pacific). In 2000, they joined Goldman Sachs as Executive Director of Investment Banking (Asia ex-Japan). In 2003, they became Senior General Manager and Head of Corporate Finance and Treasury at Maxis Communications Bhd. From 2012 to 2018, Chong held various positions at Creat Fund Management Group / Creat Capital Limited, Dragon Holdings AG, and Regal Planet Limited. In 2016, they joined TruTag Technologies, Inc. as Chief Representative - Asia. In 2018, they became Managing Partner at Knights Capital Partners, and in 2020, they became Venture Partner at ARC Group.

Datuk Seri Paul "Saint SPAC" Chong 拿督斯里 張保羅 has an extensive educational background. From 1986 to 1988, they attended Trinity College of Music, where they obtained a Licentiate Diploma in Pianoforte Performance (LTCL) in Music Performance, General. From 1986 to 1989, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and received a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Law. From 1989 to 1992, they attended ICAEW and obtained a Fellowship Member (FCA) in Accounting. Lastly, from 1992 to 1994, they attended London Business School and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General.
