Kirill Kostyanovsky, Ph.D., is an accomplished data scientist and researcher with extensive experience in environmental science and agricultural technology. Currently serving as a Data Scientist at Truterra, LLC since June 2021, Kirill is also the Chief Science Officer and Founder of New Agronomics, a startup dedicated to enhancing crop production and environmental compliance through science-based decision-making and technological innovations. Previous roles include Senior Research Scientist at the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, where algorithms and machine learning techniques were developed for water quality monitoring, and Senior Research Analyst at Washington State University, which involved remote sensing and climate adaptation projects. Kirill's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Crop and Soil Environmental Science from Virginia Tech and a Master’s Degree in Soil Science and Geography from Lomonosov Moscow State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
