Lan Margosis Ches

Lan Margosis, MPH, CHES, TTS, currently serves as a Product Associate on the Innovations team at Truth Initiative, focused on developing digital products for smoking cessation and prevention since October 2021. Previously, Lan worked as a Graduate Research Intern, contributing to research on LGBT+ e-cigarette use disparities and managing data-related tasks to support tobacco policy research. As a STAY DC Connector at the Latino Economic Development Center, case management and community outreach were primary responsibilities, assisting clients in applying for rental assistance. Lan's experience as a Campus Organizer at Planned Parenthood Generation Action involved leading a chapter of over 150 members and organizing various community engagement activities. Additional internships with Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast and the Guttmacher Institute provided expertise in research design, data analysis, and policy evaluation. Lan holds a Master of Public Health from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy and Health Science from Rice University.
