Senior Data Specialist at Truv

Tomás Insua has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Tomás started their career as a Lift Operator at Wildcat Mountain Ski Area in 2010 and later worked as a Bell Man at St. Regis Hotel Aspen. In 2016, they joined Paradigma Sociedad de Soluciones as a Jr Consultant before moving to Banco Ciudad. At Banco Ciudad, Tomás held multiple roles, including Strategic Planning Analyst and Senior Marketing Analyst, where they conducted market research and analysis. Tomás also participated in a Young Professionals Program, gaining experience in various departments such as Marketing, HR, and Corporate Banking. In 2020, they joined Ualá as a Marketing BI & Data Analyst, focusing on data-driven analysis and forecasting. Tomás then worked as a Data Scientist at Tiendanube, collaborating with product teams and helping define and measure product objectives. In 2022, they joined Dialpad as a Data Analytics Specialist, performing exploratory data analysis and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Tomás also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and Coderhouse, where they supported students in their learning journey. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Data Specialist at Truv.

Tomás Insua completed their Master of Science degree in Business Analytics from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they participated in the Digital Transformation Executive Program at the same university, completing it in 2018. Tomás obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata between 2009 and 2015. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the following: Statistical Programming with R from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in March 2023, Git + Github from zero from Udemy in July 2022, Experimentation for Improvement from McMaster University in July 2021, SQL - MySQL for Data Analytics and Business Intelligence from Udemy in March 2021, Using Python for Research from edX in July 2020, Introduction to Data Mining from UTN Buenos Aires in December 2017, and Project Management: The Basics for Success from Coursera in August 2015.
