Ryan Ahrens

Ryan Ahrens has an extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Ryan has worked at various companies and held multiple roles throughout their career. Ryan's most recent position was as the Director of Information Technology at T&S Brass, where they led four teams and 20 employees, focusing on fostering relationships and ensuring IT supports department priorities. Prior to that, they served as the IT Infrastructure Manager at Audia, managing a $10M+ annual budget and leading multiple concurrent projects. Ryan also worked at Highmark Inc. as a Sr. Security Consultant and later as a Sr. IT Project Manager, providing guidance on best practices, strategic direction, and project management. Additionally, Ryan has experience as the Manager of Applications & Project Management at Clark Hill Law and as the Manager of Application Systems at ReedSmith, LLP, where they played a pivotal role in overseeing IT operations and leading teams. Ryan's achievements include increased collaboration, successful project deployments, and optimization of server and client infrastructures. Ryan Ahrens has a diverse educational background. Starting in 1990, they attended Penn State University for a year to study engineering. Following that, they enrolled at Bob Jones University from 1991 to 1994 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management and Political Science.

In recent years, Ryan pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science in Information Technology Management from Grand Canyon University, where they studied from 2021 to 2024.

Additionally, Ryan has acquired several certifications to enhance their professional expertise. In 2001, they became a Microsoft Certified Professional. In 2014, they received their Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification. Furthermore, in 2017, they obtained two additional certifications, namely the GIAC Software Cyber Security from GIAC Certifications and the ITIL Foundation Level from Loyalist.
