Carmelo Sgobio

Carmelo Sgobio is a Data Management & Report Analyst at TSCNET Services GmbH since June 2023, specializing in bridging data and decision-making through robust data pipelines. Previously, Carmelo served as the Head of the in vivo Electrophysiology Unit at DZNE from October 2015 to September 2020, focusing on neurotransmission dysfunction in Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases. Carmelo's academic journey includes a Postdoctoral position at the NIH from October 2010 to September 2015 and at Fondazione Santa Lucia from May 2007 to September 2010, exploring neurodegenerative diseases and treatments. Carmelo completed Ph.D. studies in Psychobiology and Psychopharmacology at Sapienza Università di Roma, following a Master's degree in Experimental and General Psychology.
