Ivana Durakovic

Ivana Durakovic has extensive experience in the energy and power sector. From 2014 to 2020, they worked at HOPS Croatian Transmission System Operator Ltd., where they held roles including Head of Power System Control Centre and Power System Dispatcher. In these positions, Ivana was responsible for real-time control and operation of the central area of the Croatian power system, as well as coordinating between electricity generation, transmission, and distribution. Ivana also worked on power system analysis, contingency analysis, short circuit calculations, network modeling, and real-time power system optimization. In 2020, Ivana joined TSCNET Services GmbH as Operations Manager and later became the Head of Service Operations.

Ivana Durakovic has a strong educational background in electrical engineering and power engineering. Ivana completed their Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Power Engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Osijek, from 2003 to 2009.

During their studies, Ivana Durakovic also had a brief period of study in electrical machines and transformers at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies in Skopje in 2007.

Prior to their university studies, Ivana Durakovic attended the Language Gymnasium from 1999 to 2003, although the specific degree and field of study are not specified.

In addition to their education, Ivana Durakovic has obtained professional certifications. In September 2017, they obtained the Plant Manager certification, although the institution where they obtained it is not stated.
