Michael Padgham

Michael Padgham has over 30 years of experience in the regulatory sector. Michael began their career in 1988 as a Registration Executive at Nicholas Laboratories Ltd. Michael then moved to ICI in 1989 as a Notification Specialist, where they provided expert regulatory support on the global registration of new substances. In 1995, they joined Zeneca as a Notification Specialist and Toxicology Project Manager, where they project managed the delivery of toxicology studies by the company's toxicology facility. In 2000, they joined Syngenta as a Chemical Regulation Manager and Toxicology Project Manager, where they were the company expert on NONS and REACH. Michael then moved to REACH Facilitation Company (ReFaC) in 2007 as a Regulatory Manager. In 2008, they joined Ciba Expert Services as a REACH Manager, providing expert advice and support on REACH and related legislation to external clients. In 2019, they became a Technical Director at ERM: Environmental Resources Management. In 2020, they rejoined Ramboll as a Senior Regulatory Manager, providing senior technical oversight and expert techno-regulatory advice on REACH and related EU/Global chemicals legislation to clients. Finally, in 2022, they joined TSG Consulting as a Principal Consultant.

Michael Padgham obtained their M.A. (Oxon) in Chemistry from the University of Oxford between 1980 and 1984. Michael then went on to obtain their M.Sc in Toxicology from the University of Birmingham from 1984 to 1985.
