Feng Gao

Feng Gao is a highly experienced research scientist and director of the Big Data Group at the Energy Internet Research Institute, Tsinghua University, since February 2016. Previously, Feng held positions as a lead engineer at State Grid Smart Grid Research Institute North America Inc. and part-time faculty at San Jose State University. Notable roles at Ventyx, an ABB Company, included serving as support lead and senior application engineer, alongside a senior application engineer role at ABB Inc. Additionally, Feng has substantial academic experience, having worked as a research assistant at both Iowa State University and Tsinghua University. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MS in Electrical Power Energy System and Economics from Iowa State University, respectively, alongside an MS and BS in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
