Pengyang (Sophia) Yu

Pengyang (Sophia) Yu has a diverse work experience, beginning with a Summer Intern role at CITIC Securities Company Limited in 2014. Pengyang (Sophia) then held dual roles as Investment Intern and Data Analyst Intern at YunFeng Capital and Uber in 2016. In 2018, they took on a Research Analyst role at ACORD. Most recently, in 2020, they became an Investment Associate at Foothill Ventures.

Pengyang (Sophia) Yu attended Tsinghua University from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance. In 2015 and 2016, they attended Queen's University as an Exchange Student at the Smith School of Business, studying Finance. From 2017 to 2020, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Yale School of Management. In 2019, they obtained a certification from the CFA Institute, passing the CFA Level III Exam and becoming eligible for the Charter after four years of working experience.
