Neil Fisk, Ph.D., has a diverse and extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Neil has held various roles throughout their career, working for companies such as Tsunami Tsolutions LLC, Hawaiian Airlines, Boeing, Pratt & Whitney, and International Aero Engines.

In their most recent role as Chief Data Scientist at Tsunami Tsolutions LLC, Neil works closely with key stakeholders to understand business goals and uses data modeling and algorithms to extract insights from disparate data sources.

Prior to that, Neil served as Manager, Operations Analytics at Hawaiian Airlines, where they led a team focused on developing statistical models and simulations to improve operations and aircraft performance. Neil also worked as a Senior Analyst in the Business Planning & Analysis organization of Technical Operations, responsible for financial modeling and vendor contract evaluation.

At Boeing, Neil held the role of Regional Director, Airline Economics, where they provided economic expertise to commercial airlines and analyzed maintenance and operating costs. Neil also served as a Senior Engineer in Maintenance Programs, involved in research and analysis of scheduled maintenance requirements.

Before joining Boeing, Neil worked at Pratt & Whitney in various roles, including Manager, Maintenance Cost Group, Portfolio Manager, and Workscope Discipline Chief. In these positions, they managed maintenance cost forecasting systems, worked with airline customers to meet operational goals, and led the development of improved processes and IT tools.

Neil began their career at International Aero Engines as a Resident Maintenance Center Manager, overseeing engine maintenance and support agreements. Neil also worked at Pratt & Whitney as Fleet Technical Manager, Technical Representative, Project Engineer, and Senior Engineer, where they focused on technical support, fleet performance analysis, and engine introduction projects.

Throughout their career, Neil has demonstrated expertise in data analysis, financial modeling, maintenance cost forecasting, and operational improvement. Neil has a Ph.D. and has utilized advanced tools and techniques to provide valuable insights and recommendations to support decision-making in the aviation industry.

Neil Fisk, Ph.D., holds a diverse and extensive educational background. Neil earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Capella University, where they studied from 2007 to 2015. Prior to their Ph.D., Neil completed an Executive MBA program at the University at Buffalo School of Management, The State University of New York, from 1997 to 2000.

Neil Fisk also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering, which they obtained from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 1986 and 1989. Neil completed their undergraduate studies at Clarkson University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1983 to 1986. Before attending Clarkson University, Neil earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from SUNY Oneonta, where they studied from 1981 to 1983.

In addition to their formal education, Neil Fisk has pursued further certifications to enhance their professional skills. In April 2020, they obtained the certification "Learn API Documentation with JSON and XML" from LinkedIn. This certification demonstrates their proficiency in API documentation using JSON and XML formats. Furthermore, in August 2022, Neil earned the Alteryx Foundational Micro-Credential from Alteryx, which signifies their expertise in utilizing the Alteryx platform for data analytics and problem-solving.
