Coy Nesbitt has a diverse work experience with a strong focus on human resources and talent management. They have held senior roles in various organizations, including TTCU Federal Credit Union, Achievement Prep, KIPP DC, and Tulsa Public Schools. In these positions, they have demonstrated their skills in recruitment, redesigning hiring processes, and automation of HR functions. Coy also has experience in financial management and project management, having worked at UPMC and the U.S. Government Accountability Office. They have a proven track record of improving revenue collection and conducting audits and evaluations. Additionally, Coy has held leadership positions in finance and operations at Urban Family Development and worked as a Financial Center Manager at BB&T.
Coy Nesbitt completed a Master of Science in Public Policy (MSPPM) from Carnegie Mellon University from 2005 to 2006. Prior to that, between 1993 and 1997, Coy obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from St. Mary's College of Maryland. In addition, Coy received the certification of Professional Human Capital Leader in Education from the American Association of School Personnel Administrators in December 2018.
