Bastian Grossenbacher-Rieck

Bastian Grossenbacher-Rieck currently serves as a Full Professor at Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg since August 2024. Additionally, Bastian holds the position of Principal Investigator at Helmholtz Munich and a Junior Fellow at Technical University of Munich, both roles initiated in October 2021. Prior positions include Senior Assistant and Postdoctoral Researcher at ETH Zürich from January 2018 to October 2021, Senior Researcher at Heidelberg University in late 2017, and Researcher at University of Kaiserslautern from January 2015 to October 2017. Bastian completed a PhD in Computer Science at Heidelberg University from 2011 to 2017, following a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the same institution from 2005 to 2011.
