Hussam Amrouch

Hussam Amrouch serves as a professor and head of the Chair of AI Processor Design (AI-Pro) at the Technical University of Munich since April 2023 and also leads the Brain-inspired Computing and Edge-AI group at the Munich Institute of Robotics and Machine Intelligence. Additionally, Amrouch is the Head of the Semiconductor Test and Reliability (STAR) Department and holds the position of Junior Professor at the University of Stuttgart since July 2020. As an editor for the Nature Scientific Reports Journal focusing on Electrical Engineering since April 2022, Amrouch contributes to academic discourse. Previously, from October 2015 to September 2022, Amrouch was a Research Group Leader at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, directing the "Dependable Hardware" research group, after completing a Ph.D. in Embedded Systems at the same institution between October 2008 and June 2015, where research centered on enhancing the reliability of embedded on-chip systems.
