Slobodan Ilic is a seasoned expert in Computer Vision with extensive experience in both industry and academia. Currently serving as a Senior Key Expert Research Scientist at Siemens since January 2014, Slobodan leads research activities in Computer Vision, manages applied research projects, and defines the digital perception research strategy. In parallel, Slobodan has been a Privat Dozent at the Technical University of Munich since February 2009, where responsibilities include supervising students and teaching at the master's level. Previous roles include Senior Research Scientist at Deutsche Telekom Laboratories and postdoctoral researcher at EPFL, where Slobodan completed a PhD under Prof. Pascal Fua.
