Sofia Battaglia

Sofia Battaglia currently serves as a Science Manager for Proteomics and Bioanalytics at the Technical University of Munich since November 2023. Prior to this role, Sofia held positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Harvard Medical School from April 2018 to May 2023 and at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry from May 2013 to July 2017. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (2013-2017), along with a Master of Science (MS) in Biochemistry from the same institution (2010-2012), and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry and Biochemistry (2006-2009). Additionally, a research assistant role was completed at the University of California, Berkeley in early 2012.
