Matt Vancil

Matt Vancil is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in firefighting and account management. Currently serving as a Volunteer Firefighter at Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue since April 2023, Matt has also held a prominent position as a Senior Account Manager for National Accounts at Nike since August 2009, focusing on Nike Golf operations at the WHQ in Beaverton, Oregon. Prior experience includes serving as Team Lead at Wild Canyon Games, where Matt orchestrated a multi-faceted outdoor adventure sports competition in 2015. Matt has a strong background in athletics, having worked as an Athletic Marketing/Promotion Assistant at Oregon State University and as the Student Union Vice President, managing significant budgets and programming initiatives. Additionally, Matt has firefighting experience from the City of Corvallis and leadership experience as Vice President of the Volunteer Firefighter Association. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sports Science from Oregon State University and studies in Fire Administration at Western Oregon University.
