Suvash Sedhain

Suvash Sedhain is a highly experienced machine learning professional, currently serving as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer and Tech Lead for the Search Ranking Team at Tubi since March 2023, where efforts focus on enhancing search ranking quality and developing LLM-based personalization features. Previously, Suvash worked at Twitter from January 2018 to February 2023, leading the build of tweet ranking infrastructure capable of processing 100K queries per second. Suvash's expertise includes developing recommender systems at Tabcorp and conducting research in machine learning and artificial intelligence as a PhD student at The Australian National University. Earlier roles include data science positions at Adobe and Kobo Inc., where significant advancements were made in recommendation algorithms. Suvash’s career also includes software engineering experience at Logpoint and Bikalpa, showcasing a strong foundation in software development and system architecture.
