Michelle Murphy is a dedicated special education teacher with extensive experience in diverse educational settings. Currently employed at Tuckahoe Union Free School District since August 2019, Michelle previously served in the same role at the NYC Department of Education from August 2016 to August 2019, and participated in the NYC Teaching Fellows program from March 2016 to June 2018. Prior to entering the education field, Michelle held positions as a shift supervisor and instructor at Saf-T-Swim Swim School from November 2009 to June 2016. Michelle holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Relay Graduate School of Education (2016-2018), a Bachelor’s Degree in American Studies from the State University of New York at Old Westbury (2014-2016), and an Associate of Arts from Nassau Community College (2012-2014).
