Katherine represents a diverse set of private and public sector clients. She aims to serve as a practical problem-solver on the unique issues faced by clients in today’s legal climate. For example, Katherine recently advised clients on topics including the regulation of short-term rental and AirBnb properties, and the intersection of unemployment compensation and the gig economy. Katherine’s insight on these cutting-edge issues has been quoted by numerous publications and was cited by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in a 2019 opinion.

In business and corporate matters, Katherine advises clients on the terms of complex contracts and agreements, including Master Service Agreements, licensing and sales agreements, and SaaS agreements. Katherine also completes due diligence reviews and prepares documentation for mergers, acquisitions, and asset purchases, and assists with corporate governance and entity formation. Katherine also guides entities through obtaining certification as a women-owned or diverse-owned business.

Katherine handles commercial and residential lease and purchase transactions and has managed eminent domain and title litigation.
