George Kopas

George Kopas, CPA, CA has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. George worked at Ting Internet as Vice President, Finance, where they were responsible for overseeing the Accounting and Financial Reporting functions, as well as FP&A and decision support for strategic expansion and products. Prior to this, they held positions as Senior Director, Finance and Director, Finance at Ting Internet, and as Vice President, Finance - Ting Internet at Tucows. In these roles, they played a key role in managing the finance function, capital budget development and management, raising capital, and acquisition diligence and integration. Before joining Tucows, George worked at Deloitte as a Senior Accountant. George also gained experience at RBC Dominion Securities as an Assistant to the Vice President and Portfolio Manager, and at Open Text as an Analyst in the Office of the President.

George Kopas, CPA, CA attended Wilfrid Laurier University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting and Economics. In 2015, they received their CPA, CA designation from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada). Additionally, in 2017, they obtained the CPA, CA certification from Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario).
