Kara Greer

Kara Greer has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Kara is currently the Senior Vice President and Chief Talent Officer at Tufts Medicine, a position they have held since March 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Tufts Medical Center from October 2019. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Liberty Mutual Insurance as the Vice President and Manager of Talent & Enterprise Services, Commercial Insurance. Before that, they held the position of Vice President of Talent Management & Ochsner Leadership & Learning Institute at Ochsner Clinic Foundation from 2009 to 2015. Kara also worked in the hospitality industry as the Director of Sales Marketing at Ocean Properties, Ltd. & Affiliates from 2008 to 2009 and as the Assistant Director of Human Resources at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company LLC from 2000 to 2008.

Kara Greer obtained a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) degree from iPEC Coaching in 2019. Kara pursued a master's degree in Organizational Development & Budgeting from the University of Southern Maine from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed their bachelor's degree in Sociology at Tulane University, graduating in 1996. Kara also attended St. Mark's School from 1989 to 1992, earning a High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates.

In terms of executive education, Kara completed a Certificate Program in The HR-Executive Suite from Harvard Business School in 2017. In 2013, they undertook a Certificate Program in Strategic Business Leadership: Engagement, Performance & Execution from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Executive Education. Additionally, they acquired a Certificate Program in Service & Leadership Excellence from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business in 2009.
