Carie Cardamone

Carie (Carolin) Cardamone serves as the Associate Director of STEM and Professional Schools at Tufts University since June 2018, contributing to the enhancement of learning and teaching. Previously, Carie worked at the Museum of Science in Boston as a Program Presenter and Instructor, where hands-on science education for students was a key focus. Carie held several academic positions, including Assistant Professor at Wheelock College and Associate Director at Brown University’s Sheridan Center for Teaching & Learning, emphasizing effective technology use in education. With early roles as a Postdoctoral Fellow at MIT and a Graduate Student Research Fellow at Yale University, Carie has a strong background in astronomy and education, holding a Ph.D. in Astronomy & Astrophysics from Yale, an M.A. from Wesleyan University, and a B.A. from Wellesley College.
