Vernon Miller

Vernon Miller currently holds the position of Director at Tufts University since March 2022 and serves as a Racial Equity & Healing Fellow at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation since March 2014. Prior to these roles, Miller was an Area Coordinator and Residence Hall Director at Cornell University from January 2019 to March 2022, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Kansas State University between August 2017 and December 2018. Additional experience includes serving as Head Resident at Cornell University in the summer of 2018, Financial Services Coordinator at Ho-Chunk Community Development Corporation from January to August 2017, and Chairman of the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska & Iowa from November 2013 to November 2016, where responsibilities included governance and budget oversight. Earlier roles included Sponsored Programs Director at Nebraska Indian Community College and High School Teacher at Omaha Nation Public Schools from August 2005 to August 2013. Vernon Miller holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Cooperative Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master of Science in College Student Counseling and Personnel Services from Kansas State University.
