Lo'ay Amara

Lo'ay Amara is a software development professional with experience leading teams and developing software solutions. Lo'ay has a strong technical background and is skilled in code reviews, research, and proposal of new technologies. In addition to their technical skills, Lo'ay also has excellent soft skills, providing feedback on projects outside their area of expertise.

Lo'ay understands the tradeoffs between technical, analytical, and product goals and strives to create solutions that satisfy all of these goals. Lo'ay is not only able to identify technical problems and create solutions but is also able to get cross-team buy-in for their solutions and manage projects to make these solutions come to life.

As a software development team lead at Shahid, Lo'ay was responsible for setting the standards for the entire organization and providing technical advice and decision-making that affected not only their group but other teams or the company at large. In this role, they demonstrated their ability to not only identify technical problems and create solutions but also their ability to get cross-team buy-in for their solutions and manage projects to make these solutions come to life.

In September 2016, Lo'ay began working as a senior web developer at the Middle East Broadcasting Center. In this role, they were responsible for developing software solutions for the company. During their time at the Middle East Broadcasting Center, Lo'ay demonstrated their ability to develop software solutions that satisfied all of the company's technical, analytical, and product goals.

In June 2015, Lo'ay began working as a software development team lead at ReserveOut. In this role, they were responsible for leading a team of software developers and overseeing the development of software solutions for the company. During their time at ReserveOut, Lo'ay demonstrated their ability to not only lead a team of developers but also their ability to develop software solutions that satisfied all of the company's technical, analytical, and product goals.

Lo'ay Amara has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Jami'at Al Al-Bayt. Lo'ay has also received certification from Sun Microsystems in Sun Certified Web Component Developer for Java 2EE (SCWCD) and Sun Certified Java Developer (SCJD).
