Tala Nasr

Tala Nasr is currently the Special Projects Coordinator at Tuhoon. Prior to this, they worked as an Assistant Project Coordinator with Experts Academy SA from September 2019 to November 2019. In this role, they assisted in the placement of 330 students in English Language Centres in the UK, USA, France and Australia. Tala also assisted in the organisation and coordination of the 5-week Pre-Departure Orientation, including team management, general admin duties, and report writing.

From September 2018 to August 2019, Nasr worked as a Marketing Executive with Monumental Marketing. During their time there, they were responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans, managing social media accounts, and coordinating promotional events.

Nasr began their professional career as a Research Intern with the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat) from July 2018 to August 2018. In this role, they conducted research on various topics related to Bahraini foreign policy and authored a number of reports.

Nasr is also the founder of pH7 Global, a social media platform that aims to connect young people from around the world. Tala launched the company in March 2018 and has since grown it to a team of 12 employees.

Finally, Nasr completed a Summer Internship with Kioumji Eslim Law Fi in August 2015. During their internship, they worked on various research projects and gained exposure to the inner workings of a law firm.

Tala Nasr completed their undergraduate degree in Politics and International Relations at the University of Kent. Tala then went on to complete the International Foundation Programme in Politics at the University of Kent. Tala Nasr is currently completing their schooling at The British School of Bahrain.

Tala Nasr reports to Fares Ghandour, Co-CEO. Tala Nasr works with Lina Abubaker - People and Culture Manager, Youssef Abu Bakr - Creative Consultant, and Aymane Sennousi - Chief Product and Growth Officer.
