Ramón Delima

Global Director Customer Services at TUI Group

Ramón Delima has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Ramón is currently the Global Director of Customer Services at TUI since 2022. In 2023, they will also take on the role of President of the Customer Service Federation in the Netherlands.

Prior to their current positions, Ramón served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at International Airline Services Ltd from 2019 to 2022, where they provided oversight and direction to the company. Ramón also held the position of Chief Executive Officer/Company Managing Director at Cygnific from 2018 to 2022, where they led a subsidiary of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and focused on creating unique customer experiences for various clients.

In the past, Ramón held various leadership roles at Air France KLM Martinair Cargo from 2011 to 2017, including Vice President for North & South America and Vice President for Special Cargo. Ramón was responsible for leading teams, managing sales, operations, and finance, and overseeing specialized cargo transport.

Additionally, Ramón had a role as a non-executive board member at SoDExI-Express-International from 2012 to 2015, where they focused on express transport operations.

Earlier in their career, they worked at AIRFRANCE KLM in different capacities, including Commercial Director for Africa & Middle East, General Manager for Nigeria & Central Africa, Country Manager for Denmark & Iceland, Marketing Manager for South Europe and Middle East, and Pricing Manager.

Before entering the corporate world, Ramón worked as a Project Manager at Leiden University in 1997.

Ramón Delima has a MA in Latin America Studies from Leiden University, which they obtained between 1990 and 1997. Later, from 2000 to 2002, they pursued an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. In 2010, they completed a Joint Executive Program at IMD. Subsequently, in 2016, they attended The Wharton School for a program focused on high potential leaders. Lastly, in 2023, they briefly attended the IESE Business School for a course in Artificial Intelligence for business executives.
