Hazael García-Casillas

Hazael García-Casillas has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Hazael currently holds the position of Head of Operations at Tuio, starting in May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Development Manager at Tuio from August 2021 to April 2022.

In 2020, Hazael pursued an MBA at IE Business School, where they ranked in the top 15% of their intake. Hazael actively participated in the Start-up and Venture Lab and was a Manager Member at IE Consulting Club. Hazael completed their MBA in July 2021.

Hazael also worked as an MBA Consultant at Repsol from March 2021 to April 2021.

From 2018 to 2020, they served as the Head of Operations at Volaré S.A., where they successfully launched and implemented a client engagement and brand positioning plan, resulting in a 22% market share. Hazael also led international expansion efforts through market analysis and client dealings, and created effective marketing campaigns through personalized strategies.

Before that, Hazael held the role of Special Project Coordinator - Mérida Marathon 2020 at Ayuntamiento de Mérida Yucatán from August 2019 to January 2020. Hazael was responsible for negotiating with sponsors and clients to increase revenues and implemented brand positioning plans at a national and international level.

In 2018, Hazael worked as a Legal Consultant at Gobierno del Estado de Yucatán, where they analyzed and developed effective strategies for 8 different population sectors and presented analysis presentations to senior stakeholders. Hazael also executed budget plans and supervised their implementation.

From 2015 to 2018, Hazael served as a Legal Consultant at H. Congreso del Estado de Yucatán. Hazael coordinated a security project, assessed the impact of public policies, and managed citizen-centric data to provide a comprehensive view of citizens.

Additionally, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on social and business skills from Leicester College.
