Gilad Langer has extensive work experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in the life sciences sector. Gilad has held various roles at different companies, showcasing their expertise in smart manufacturing, digital transformation, and advanced analytics.

In their most recent role as the Industry Practice Lead at Tulip Interfaces, Gilad was responsible for managing the collective expertise and experience in the industrial operations domain. Gilad provided guidance and consultancy to customers in the product supply and manufacturing systems domain, utilizing best practices for increased productivity, quality, and compliance.

Before joining Tulip Interfaces, Gilad worked as a Principal at Gilad L Consulting, where they focused on helping the manufacturing industry, particularly the regulated life sciences industry, with smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 strategies. Gilad developed and executed strategies for digital transformation, incorporating cloud computing, AI, IIoT, advanced analytics, automation, and AR/VR.

Gilad also served as the VP of Business Development at Bigfinite Inc, where they were responsible for global sales, marketing, and business development for their manufacturing intelligence and advanced analytics platform. Gilad played a key role in bringing advanced analytics using AI and ML to the life sciences manufacturing industry.

Prior to that, Gilad worked at NNE as the Director of Automation & MIS, where they grew the pharmaceutical engineering services operations pipeline and revenue. Gilad developed and executed specific strategies aligned with the global direction for engineering services operations in the US. Gilad transformed a segmented business area into a cohesive unit, delivering a balanced project portfolio including a multi-million automation design and integration project for a greenfield pharmaceutical plant.

Gilad's experience also includes roles at Camstar Systems, Inc. as a Product Manager, where they were responsible for strategy, marketing, and planning of manufacturing business intelligence products, and at Flexware Innovation as the Chief Strategist & Product Manager, where they delivered custom manufacturing systems and provided technology investment consulting.

Additionally, Gilad has experience in manufacturing system implementation and consulting management at Verid Technology, and they have held academic roles at the Technical University of Denmark, where they managed research activities in advanced concepts for highly agile manufacturing systems.

Their early work experience includes managerial roles at a military and security organization.

Gilad Langer has a strong educational background in engineering and software development. Gilad obtained their Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, with a focus on Software Engineering, from DTU - Technical University of Denmark between 1996 and 1999. Prior to this, they completed their M.Sc. in Manufacturing Engineering and Industrial Engineering at the same institution from 1990 to 1995. As for their high school education, Gilad obtained a diploma from the International School of Kenya from 1979 to 1984.
