Susanne Vernim

Susanne Vernim has a diverse work experience in the engineering and sustainable production fields. Susanne is currently working as a Solutions Engineer at Tulip Interfaces since November 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles at the Institut für Werkzeugmaschinen und Betriebswissenschaften, TUM from 2014 to 2022. Susanne served as the Head of Department for Sustainable Production from October 2020 to August 2022, and also worked in Strategic Development from April 2019 to August 2022. Susanne started their career as a Research Assistant in March 2014 and held that position until April 2019. Before joining TUM, they worked as an Engineering Trainee at Robert Bosch GmbH from April 2012 to February 2014.

Susanne Vernim completed their education at two institutions. From 2006 to 2011, they studied at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and obtained their Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen. Following this, they attended the Technical University of Munich for their doctoral studies in Maschinenbau from 2014 to 2020, earning a Dr.-Ing. degree.
