Sydney Laing

Customer Success Manager at Tulip

Sydney Laing began their work experience in 2012 with a work placement at Lotus Cars. In 2013, they became a Chemical Engineering Student at the University of Leeds, where they also worked as a Student Ambassador and Engineering Employability Intern. In 2015, Laing joined Engineers Without Borders Leeds as President and became a Brand Ambassador for Glaxo Smith Kline. Sydney also completed an Industrial Placement in OSD Engineering at Glaxo Smith Kline between 2016 and 2017, working on various projects. In 2018, Laing started their career at GSK, where they held roles including Junior Engineer, Shift Engineering Leader, and Facility & Operational Compliance Lead. Currently, they work as a Customer Success Manager at Tulip Interfaces since 2023.

Sydney Laing completed their high school education at Norwich School from 2008 to 2013. They pursued further studies at the University of Leeds from 2013 to 2018, earning a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Chemical Engineering. In 2021, Sydney attended NEBOSH to obtain a National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
