Matthew Evans

Matthew Evans has extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as the Interim Head of Investor Relations at Tullow Oil since March 2014. Prior roles at Tullow Oil include Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs Manager, Investor Relations Manager, Senior Investor Relations Advisor, Performance and Integration Advisor, and Business Analyst across various commercial teams in Uganda, Ghana, and corporate planning. Previous experience includes working as an Analyst in Consulting Services at Argus Media and as a Research Associate at GMP Securities. Matthew began a career in the oil and gas industry at Deloitte, holding positions as an Oil and Gas Analyst and Associate within the Petroleum Services Group. Matthew holds a BSc Hons. Degree in Geology from the University of Southampton, completed between 2004 and 2007, and has a background in education from Shrewsbury School and Packwood Haugh School.
