Tessa Brawley-Barker

Tessa Brawley-Barker is an experienced library professional currently serving as a Library Associate in the Reference department at Tulsa City-County Library since December 2019. Previously, Tessa managed the Interlibrary Loan department at the National Gallery of Art and supervised staff in processing borrowing and lending requests. Tessa also served as a Librarian at Glenstone Museum, where crucial strategic goals for the library were established. Other roles include Public Services/Reference Assistant at Syracuse University Libraries, Archives Assistant at the Belfer Audio Archive, and Fine Arts Library Intern at Cornell University. Tessa holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Science, as well as a Certificate of Advanced Study in Cultural Heritage Preservation from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish from Oklahoma State University.
