Ken Stewart

911 Communications Director at Tulsa County Sheriffs Office

Ken Stewart is the 911 Communications Director at the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office. Ken has over 20 years of experience in emergency medical dispatch and public safety communications. Ken began their career as an EMT-I and Dispatcher with North Central EMS in 1999. Ken then went on to work as a Client Services Manager for Alert Public Safety Solutions and Mercy Lifestar Ambulance. In their current role, Ken is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the 911 communications center and dispatching emergency services.

Ken Stewart has a MEd from Ashland University in Education, a BS from Ashland University in Biology and Sports Medicine, and a Diploma from Batavia High School in General Studies. Ken also has certification from the Ohio Department of Public Safety in Emergency Medical Technician - Intermediate and Firefighter Level II, from Cisco Systems in CCNA – Cisco Certified Network Administrator and CCNP – Cisco Certified Network Professional, and from NENA: The 9-1-1 Association in Center Manager Certification Program (CMCP). Additionally, Ken is certified by Powerphone in Emergency Medical Dispatcher.
