Richard Ramey

Richard Ramey is a highly experienced musician and business owner with a strong background in bassoon performance. Richard currently holds the title of Principal Bassoon at multiple well-known companies such as Tulsa Symphony, Tulsa Ballet, and Tulsa Opera. In addition to their performing career, Richard is the director of Bassoon Bonanza!, a workshop for bassoon players of various levels. With a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Michigan State University, Richard also served as a Professor of Bassoon at the University of Arkansas for over two decades.
