Charlie Barlow has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades.

Most recently, they worked at Tumelo as the Global Head of Sales, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of VP, Fund Manager Partnerships from 2022 to 2023. Tumelo is an impact-focused financial technology firm that works towards creating a more sustainable investment system by providing transparency and a shareholder voice to investors.

Before joining Tumelo, Charlie was an Advisor at Toothfairy™ in 2021. Charlie also served as a Member of the Board Trustees for Cricket Builds Hope starting in 2020.

Charlie has a strong entrepreneurial background. Charlie founded and served as the CEO of Rockfirst Capital from 2012 to 2022, an investment and advisory firm that focuses on disruptive technology businesses and impactful sectors.

In 2017, Charlie founded and led Health at Hand healthcare as the CEO. Health at Hand was a patient-to-doctor video consultation platform that provided digital healthcare solutions and eliminated waiting times for patients in the UAE.

Charlie has also held executive positions in notable organizations. Charlie was the Executive Director and Head of Middle East Markets at Bank of Singapore from 2011 to 2013, where they managed the wealth of UHNW Middle Eastern Family Offices and Ruling Families. Before that, they were the Senior Vice President and Head of International Sales at SHUAA Capital psc from 2008 to 2011, overseeing asset management, brokerage, and private equity divisions.

Prior to their roles in the Middle East, Charlie worked at HSBC as the Head of Offshore Banking in Mainland China from 2006 to 2008. Charlie was responsible for offshore investments and was recognized as the top performer in various categories.

Charlie began their career in finance as a Senior Private Banker at Kleinwort Benson in 2001. Charlie started their professional journey as a Graduate Trainee at Morgan Stanley in 1999.
