Monique Maddox

Monique Maddox is an accomplished leader currently serving as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Descendants Truth & Reconciliation Foundation since July 2023. Maddox holds multiple positions as a Limited Partner at Gaingels, Tundra Ventures, and Groove Capital, and is a member of Pipeline Angels, focusing on empowering women and non-binary femme social entrepreneurs. As a mentor for Techstars' accelerator programs, Maddox supports emerging founders. Previously, as Founding Principal at Macrame Technologies, capabilities included enhancing IT decision-making for organizations. With extensive experience at Carlson Wagonlit Travel as a Director and Global IT Business Partner, Maddox was instrumental in global process improvements and led software development teams. Previous roles at Wells Fargo and Fujitsu Global leveraged project management skills in data management and technology projects. Maddox holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University.
