Sara Che has had a diverse work experience, starting with a Lab Assistant role at Natural Resources of Canada in 2006. Sara then worked as a Co-op Student at Xerox Research Centre of Canada in 2007, followed by two Research Assistant positions at The University of British Columbia and University of Toronto in 2007 and 2009 respectively. From 2010 to 2016, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell University, and then as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center from 2016 to 2019. Sara currently holds the role of Scientist at Universal Cells since 2019, and is set to become a Senior Scientist at Tune Therapeutics in 2022.
Sara Che obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University between 2010 and 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Nanotechnology Engineering from the University of Waterloo between 2005 and 2010.
