Kim Hanson

Kim Hanson is an experienced professional with a diverse background in community service and the performing arts. Currently serving as Selectman for the Town of New Fairfield, Connecticut since November 2013, Kim also holds the position of Production Manager at the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, coordinating key aspects of the organization's race events. With extensive experience as a lighting designer for various theatre and ballet companies including The Key West Players, Paradise Ballet Theatre, Ballet Santa Barbara, Main Street Ballet, and Gateway Playhouse, Kim is recognized for designing lighting for major productions. Previous roles include board chair for the New Fairfield Board of Education, where responsibilities included hiring a superintendent and overseeing significant construction projects. Kim holds a BA in Theatre from Millikin University.
